What's is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a state of natural deep relaxation and concentration. Its helps you use the power of your mind and your creative imagination to find new ways of dealing with your problems and to help assist to alter unwanted patterns of behaviour.

The hypnotic state enables you to access the ability of the subconscious mind to resolve deeply rooted issues.

Can I be hypnotised?

Yes, it's easy to go into hypnosis and it is a normal state of mind that everyone has experienced. When you come in hypnosis, all you need to do is to be able to follow the instructions of the hypnotherapist and you can put the power of hypnosis to work for you.

Is Hypnosis safe?

Can I get stuck in hypnosis?

When you are in a hypnotic trance, you are not actually asleep. You are, however, often very relaxed and quite alert to everything that is going on.  Even if I were to leave you alone, you would eventually surface on your own, feeling great.

How long is a hypnotherapy session?

Usually the first session is the longest due to the information gathering required normally between one and half to two hours. The following sessions normally take between forty five minutes to one hour.

Is Hypnotherapy covered by Medicare or Private Health Funds?

At this stage hypnotherapy is not covered by Medicare. Some Private health funds do cover Hypnotherapy, depending on your health fund, as levels of cover may vary.  I have a health provider number and is a professional member of the Australian Hypnotherapy Association.
